JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading electrical contractor who work on industrial
and commerical projects
The estimator will tender on a variety of projects and will be
involved in full tender process from beginning to completion
Liaising with relevant parties on an on-going basis
Competent to take-off from drawings and compliance to details
specifications
Liaison with project construction, ie safety statements, method
statements, BCAR compliance
Submittal process to clients and QS of the proposed equipment and
materials to be used and approved, before installation commences
Progress claims and variations and day works costings
Final account and costings
As fitted drawings and materials used
Present final certifications and completion
REQUIREMENTS
A relevant third level degree and/or a trade background
3 years experience in a similar role
Experience in a mechanical & electrical contracting environment
essential
Proficient IT skills relevant to tender presentation and bill of
quantities
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict
deadlines essential
Excellent communication and time management skills essential
